Newsletter: 2017 Donations and Ministry Update

by Kevin Novak | Jul 27, 2016 | DtC Newsletter

See my Email to the Editor of WorldNet Daily

This past spring Deconstructing the Coliseum had a successful presence at three home school conventions: Great Homeschool Conventions in Greenville, South Carolina; Teach Them Diligently in Atlanta, and Information Network for Christian Homes (INCH) in Lansing, Michigan. We also held our Second Annual Great Education Forum in Lynchburg, Virginia, addressing whether a Christian child can prosper in a civil government school. (You can view my presentation here.)

Along with our presence at home school conventions, I was present at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in February, which was successful on many fronts, spawning interviews and spreading the abolition message to many willing listeners. And our list of informal ministry partners has increased; there are many, many persons favoring abolishing the civil government’s stranglehold on thought. Finally, a tremendous victory came when Exodus Mandate’s Escaping Common Core was produced and released; it included the Christian’s end goal of returning the education duty to parents.

Please encourage someone to apply for our Bahnsen Externship.

While there are projects occupying us the second half of this year, we are already planning for 2017. On the agenda is once again the NRB Convention (Orlando), at least one Great Homeschool Conventions event (Greenville or Fort Worth), likely one Teach Them Diligently event (Nashville or Atlanta), INCH, and the Third Annual Great Education Forum. And I am personally working on having a debate on civil government school system issues.

Further, there is the exciting possibility of opening a Texas office (to serve in conjunction with the current Virginia office), expanding our civil government school system abolition footprint. I give you this information in the hopes that you make a nontax-deductible donation to Deconstructing the Coliseum. The donations go towards the above projects, not unnecessary overhead; mainly they go towards convention fees and travel expenses.

You can make a nontax-deductible donation, without a gatekeeper fee or transaction cost, by snail mail:

We are living in difficult times, but it is my fallible opinion that overall God’s Kingdom expands every day. While things may have gotten temporarily worse here in our Nation, we have to be careful not to just use the United States as a barometer dispositive of what God is doing en masse. God is on the move, in so many Nations and people groups. Nevertheless, I can see where with this education movement — with parental rights reassertion and a return of discipleship duties to families and churches — where God is not just saving people but giving us the tools to take total Lordship over his Creation. We are moving from the bottom up, from the inside out, taking the long, patient view.

Blessings,
KRN
