Deconstructing the Coliseum promotes civil government school system abolition.
The Puritans were a group that tried to reform the established Church of England. One segment of the Puritans decided to quit trying to reform the Church of England; instead they separated from the Church of England and the Puritans, and worshipped outside the purview of the civil government’s established church. They were called Separatists. Robert Browne was their leader. He is one of my heroes. The 1620 Pilgrims to America were Separatists.
Please take time to study the established Church of England and the Puritan attempts at reform; I suggest this because that situation is analogous to what we are dealing with now in American society. That is, the civil government has an established church. What, you don’t believe me? It has state-certified preachers (known as teachers), State-certified doctrine, State-compelled attendance, and state-compelled tithing.
So yes, there is an established church in America. It is called the civil government school system.
And so what can we learn from the Separatists? Well, the giant lesson they teach us is that there should be no civil government established church. For the Separatists that was the Church of England; for us that is the civil government school system. But also, they understood that they had alternatives to England’s established church. That is, they could have church “reformation” by just leaving. In the Separatists’ case, they physically left. First they went to the Netherlands, then they came to America. But for us, we do have the option of leaving the civil government school system without having to leave the country; in other words, we can have the reforms we want, without having to “reform” the very thing that should not exist: the civil government school system.
