Deconstructing the Coliseum: Teaching the Christian worldview, including how the civil government has no right to operate a school system.
Abolishing the civil government school system is something that will happen over time. Now it will eventually happen, as more hearts and minds turn to Jesus, and then understand that there is no God-given authority to advance thought via force and coercion.
Civil government school system abolition will happen, but it will take time. In order to make it happen, here are some things you can do:
- The number one thing you should do is search the Scriptures. In them you will see no justification for the use of force and coercion to advance thought. You should also read Kerry L. Morgan’s book Real Choice, Real Freedom, and Robert L. Thoburn’s The Children Trap, which is available online for free.
- Then, you can extract your child from the civil government school system. As I’ve spoken of before, this reduces the school’s funding, but more importantly it allows your child to have a Christ-centered education.
- Teach your children that they should teach their children. The goal here is to make sure your children don’t assume the validity of the civil government school system, as people do with other civil government activities – like Social Security.
- If you are a grandparent, if you are able to take on educating your grandchildren then do so. This may be especially helpful if your own children are overtaxed and need to work, not allowing them to home educate.
- If you can’t extract your child, then follow the One Day at a Time model I’ve spoken of before, and you can find out more about on our Godtube channel.
- You can also call your legislators. Politely plant the seed that the civil government has no right to operate a school system.
- Speak before your school board. Politely tell them the same thing; based on my experience many school board members are Christians. But they’ve never heard the abolition message. It is up to us to bring it to them.
- Once the civil government school system is abolished then education will thrive and America will revive.
